"It wouldn't feel like the Halloween season without Parade of Mischief," Downtown Summerlin's senior marketing director, Halee Harczynski, said in the parade's 2026 announcement on summerlin.com. This is the parade's eighth year, and its last two nights are Friday, Oct. 23, and Saturday, Oct. 24, at 6 p.m. on Park Centre Drive. Admission is free, and the floats draw on Wicked, Hocus Pocus, The Addams Family and Día de los Muertos.
After Saturday, the published calendar near The Ridges changes shape. The latest holiday schedule Downtown Summerlin has posted on summerlin.com, covering its parade, Santa Chalet and Rock Rink, is the 2025 one. Enchant at Las Vegas Ballpark has already published its 2026 run, which opens Nov. 20. Until then, the confirmed calendar consists mostly of weekly and monthly standbys.
The four weeks after the parade
The Halloween season had the big draws. The Summerlin Festival of Arts marked its 30th year on The Lawn on Oct. 9 through 11. The parade filled eight Friday and Saturday nights in October. From Oct. 25 to Nov. 19, the confirmed events within a short drive of the gate are the ones that run every week or come back every month:
| What | Where | When | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Las Vegas Farmers Market | The Pavilion at Downtown Summerlin | Every Saturday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. | Not listed |
| Public skate sessions | City National Arena | Set sessions, including Oct. 22, 23 and 24 | $10, plus $3 skate rental |
| Renee Hale's Las Vegas Legends | Rocks Lounge, Red Rock Resort | Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2 p.m. | No cover, 21+ |
The farmers market is listed as weekly, which gives it nine more Saturdays between Oct. 31 and Dec. 26. The schedule doesn't mention any changes for holiday weekends, so check the official listing before going on Nov. 28 or Dec. 26. The City National Arena calendar has public sessions at odd hours, such as 11:10 a.m. on a Thursday or 8 p.m. on a Saturday, so look up the specific date before you go.
Red Rock's Rocks Lounge has the most consistent no-cover nights on the confirmed list. Zowie Bowie plays on the parade's final Friday, Oct. 23, at 9 p.m. Renee Hale's Las Vegas Legends plays an afternoon show on Nov. 3 and returns on Dec. 1, both at 2 p.m. Casino entertainment calendars can change, so confirm on the Station Casinos Live Red Rock page before you plan around a show.
A new patio in the quiet stretch
With fewer events on the calendar, the open question for these weeks is where to eat. Downtown Summerlin's restaurant lineup has changed since late summer.
Eater Vegas's October 2026 roundup of new restaurants says Finney's Crafthouse opened on Sept. 21 at 10955 Oval Park Drive. It's the first sports tavern the Finney brothers, twins Greg and Brad Finefrock, have opened outside California. Eater describes a menu of more than 50 dishes, with burgers that include A6 Wagyu and bison options, 30 craft beers on tap and fresh-squeezed cocktails such as a spicy mango margarita. The space has brick walls, reclaimed wood and a dog-friendly patio. According to the same report, a second location is set to open at Town Square in December.
In the same stretch of weeks, Downtown Summerlin lost a restaurant. Neon, the Las Vegas Review-Journal's entertainment section, reported that La Neta Cocina y Lounge closed on Tuesday, Sept. 29, after five years at 1770 Festival Plaza Drive. If La Neta was your dinner spot before the parade, it's gone, and Finney's now sits a few blocks away on Oval Park Drive.
Thanksgiving morning starts at the Ballpark
The Life Time Las Vegas Turkey Trot runs Thursday, Nov. 26. The 5K starts at 7:30 a.m. and the one-mile family race at 7:40 a.m. The 5K starts at the Ballpark and finishes at Life Time Summerlin, 10721 W. Charleston Blvd. The registration listing shows $66.75 for the 5K and $45 for the family mile, with processing fees included. If you're hosting family that week, the race is done before most kitchens are busy.
The same weekend, City National Arena has public skate sessions on Saturday, Nov. 21, and Sunday, Nov. 22, both from 10:50 to 11:50 a.m.
Enchant opens Nov. 20, and Downtown Summerlin's last posted schedule is 2025's
Enchant Las Vegas returns to Las Vegas Ballpark for its 2026 season, running Nov. 20 through Dec. 27, and tickets are on sale now. Admission starts at $27. It opens about four weeks after the last parade float on Park Centre Drive.
Downtown Summerlin's holiday season ran longer than Enchant last year. That schedule appeared in a summerlin.com release dated Nov. 1, 2025, and it looked like this:
- Santa Chalet, Nov. 14 through Dec. 24, 2025
- Rock Rink, Nov. 14, 2025, through Jan. 19, 2026
- Holiday Parade, Nov. 21 through Dec. 20, plus a special performance on Dec. 22, 2025
- Holiday Wine Walk, Nov. 22, 2025
- Hanukkah celebration, Dec. 21, 2025
That list describes last year only. Treat it as a pattern to watch for, not as a schedule for 2026. If Downtown Summerlin follows the same timing, its 2026 announcement would arrive around the beginning of November, and the rink and Santa Chalet would open a week before Enchant. Check summerlin.com for the official 2026 dates before you make plans.
December's one ticketed night at Red Rock
Red Rock Resort has one ticketed event on its confirmed December calendar. Comedian Matt Mathews brings his Not What I Ordered World Tour to the Red Rock Ballroom on Sunday, Dec. 6, with shows at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Reserved seats start at $47.50 plus tax and fees, and the show is 21 and over. It falls on the third weekend of Enchant's run and five days after the Dec. 1 Renee Hale show in Rocks Lounge downstairs.
Here's the confirmed schedule near The Ridges from parade weekend to the end of the year, in order:
- Oct. 23: Parade of Mischief at 6 p.m., Zowie Bowie at Rocks Lounge at 9 p.m.
- Oct. 24: Final Parade of Mischief at 6 p.m. and a farmers market Saturday
- Nov. 3: Renee Hale's Las Vegas Legends, 2 p.m., Rocks Lounge
- Nov. 20: Enchant opens at Las Vegas Ballpark
- Nov. 21 and 22: Morning public skate at City National Arena
- Nov. 26: Turkey Trot from the Ballpark to Life Time Summerlin
- Dec. 1: Renee Hale returns to Rocks Lounge
- Dec. 6: Matt Mathews, two shows, Red Rock Ballroom
- Dec. 27: Enchant's final night
The farmers market runs every Saturday throughout. For more on the area, the Summerlin neighborhood page and our post on Saturday mornings in The Ridges while Amara Golf Club rebuilds cover the routines that carry on alongside these dates.
